What is your role and what does it involve ?

I have been volunteering since it was founded in May 2018. I volunteer on a Friday when I get the shop ready to open up for 10am. I re-stock, follow a cleaning rota and serve customers.

Why do you love Get Loose ?

I love the concept and what its trying to achieve. I enjoy talking to the customers about Get Loose, all the positives its doing for our environment, the process of researching / sourcing of our products and that it is a social enterprise. I also like to talk about the food hub, Frizzante the restaurant and the farm itself. The amazing community feel of Hackney City Farm as a whole. I always add the over-whelming support and diversity of all the truly wonderful volunteers who are a major part of Get Loose’s success!!

What iss your favourite product and why ?

My favourite product is the honey roasted almonds as I have an incredibly sweet tooth and they are yummy. I also share mine with the customers who 9 times out of 10 will buy them !! I also like the gluten free oats, and the muesli.
