How did you find out about Get Loose?

I've been volunteering at the farm since I was 2, I am very nosey, and like knowing what's going on all around the farm at all times. Jacki had been working for Growing Communities, and when I heard they were setting up a package-free shop I got very excited as I've always wanted one near me.

What is your role and what does it involve?

I potter around and flit in and out of many roles; mostly I help on the till, with DIY, de-stressing / general advice, tinkering on Instagram and making cups of tea.

Why do you love Get Loose?

Too many reasons! Mostly because it's a great community. Also because it's the way shopping should be: ethical, eco friendly, wastefree (as much as possible) and reasonably priced.

Why do you enjoy volunteering?

For me volunteering is something fun and worthwhile, you have to believe in it or what's the point?

What is your Favourite product and why?

All the shop volunteers will expect me to say "stego" because I've usually always got one in my mouth! My favourite products are the dates, figs and brazil nuts - I like chopping them up, adding them to the muesli and pouring hot water over them for my breakfast.
